Based on radar technology this built in system helps find victims after avalanches and helps reduce the time teams take to find victims; therefore you get assistance faster when in need. Made with GORE-TEX material and DWR treated the surface is designed to be waterproof and wind resistant which allows the outer layer of the jacket to repel water as well as wind to keep you feeling warm and damp free throughout any weather. The hood is adjustable and helmet- compatible therefore there is enough room to be able to access the hood whilst wearing a helmet. As well as this, the hood includes a reinforced peak which helps shield your face from falling rain; helping you feel more protected against the elements. A full zip has been added, capable of protecting your chin in order to keep the bottom half of your face feeling covered and less exposed. Reinforced sleeves and shoulders make this jacket extremely durable and is abrasion-resistant to avoid wear and tear whilst trekking; to keep you moving for longer. Perfect all year round, underarm zip vents allow air to flow throughout the jacket when unzipped and retain heat when closed allowing you to adjust the air flow to your liking.
