Water-Repellent Idro-Perwanger Leather Upper

Constructed from a water-repellent Idro-Perwanger leather, the Nepal Extreme has a super-durable design to keep feet shielded across challenging, rocky trail conditions. The leather is breathable to reduce the risks of overheating and has moisture-wicking properties to prevent the build-up of sweat during tough trail walking adventures. The water-repellent feature stops light rain and moisture from entering the boots. These boots are designed to keep you warm when temperatures drop thanks to the PrimaLoft Silver highloft insulation, helping you get out there when the weather is against you. A 3D Flex System Evo ensures natural flexibility and mobility at the ankle for more stability and protection on difficult terrain. An insulating Ibi-Thermo lasting board provides exceptional cold-weather barrier protection from frozen ground and ice. The upper features crampon attachment points, which enable you to attach a crampon, and the upper is completed by a lacing system which locks the midfoot to provide a secure and stable fit. The lacing system uses an EZ out sling that facilitates and speeds up the release of the lacing block with a single rapid movement.

With shock-absorbing properties, the midsole helps reduce the risk of injury and discomfort by sponging impact when striking tough and changing trail conditions.

Vibram Matterhorn Outsole

Featuring a Vibram Matterhorn outsole, the Nepal Extreme have been designed to provide supreme grip on a multitude of surfaces. The high-performance rubber compound offers unparalleled sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle tricky terrain with ease, whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity, providing unprecedented grip hike after hike and trail after trail. This Vibram outsole is also very stable and supportive thanks to the incorporation of a stiffening shank into the midsole. Working with the outsole is the Impact Brake System, which absorbs shocks, providing increased traction, making it a perfect shoe for downhill control and uphill traction. Completing the outsole are deep multi-directional lugs that dig into the ground for biting traction.
