Mizuno Wave Horizon 9 Women's Running Shoes

Designed to provide a floating sensation while running, the Wave Horizon 9's are the perfect companion for those who overpronate. Featuring Mizuno's signature technology to deliver plush cushioning and high energy return.

Smooth Stretch Woven Upper

Optimising your in-shoe comfort and providing you with the ultimate level of security during running, the Wave Horizon 9 features a Smooth Stretch Woven Upper. Soft and stretchy, the upper provides a snug fit, reducing in-shoe slipping and keeping you prepared for every race or run. Additionally, the uppers keep your feet well-positioned when running due to their ability to minimise horizontal stretching. Featuring strategic perforations, the shoes are super breathable, providing you with a cool, fresh sensation by allowing constant fresh air to travel through the structure, which also reduces overheating. The quick-drying capabilities of the upper stop you from becoming uncomfortable thanks to its ability to wick moisture and sweat rapidly, keeping you dry during tough periods. The traditional laces work well with the soft tongue and cushioned collar to lock down the midfoot, providing you with a secure fit.

Mizuno Enerzy NXT and Enerzy Midsole

A dual-layer midsole keeps feet comfortable and cushioned underfoot. Combining a Mizuno Enerzy NXT and Mizuno Enerzy midsole compound, the shoes are super soft, ultra responsive and assist you with next-level performance. The top midsole, Enerzy NXT, is soft and light, offering you excellent energy return to propel you forward whilst preventing injury or discomfort from ruining your run. Below this is Mizuno's Enerzy compound for added stability and even softer cushioning. Further assisting your stability and keeping you secure, adding to this is an asymmetrical Mizuno Wave design, which also absorbs shocks when striking down onto less forgiving, unpredictable grounds. This combination of outstanding technologies provides you with outstanding properties to keep you protected from heavy impact and ensure optimum comfort across a variety of miles. Completing the midsole is a premium sockliner, which provides step-in comfort.

X10 Rubber Outsole

Made using an X10 rubber outsole, the most durable carbon rubber, the Wave Horizon 9 outsole allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and supplements traction at heel strike. This helps lessen the impact on the knees and joints, allowing for a more comfortable ride and optimising gait efficiency. The outsole also ensures maximum grip and traction for a firm, assured footing so you can run with confidence and push yourself to the limit, time and time again. The forefoot flex grooves enhance your smooth forward motion, resulting in an efficient, fluid motion that allows runners to harness their power.
