Vaporweave Upper

A Vaporweave upper encases each foot in streamlined comfort. Zones of ventilation and structure are engineered into the material; the mesh perforations located at the toe box increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to win in, and lightweight support wraps the foot in a firm fit, reducing in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. Known for its lightweight and low water retention, the Vaporweave fabric keeps the shoe light even when wet. Fully connected to a stretchy tongue, debris and dirt is effectively blocked from entering the shoe and causing distraction. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to help lock the midfoot to reduce excessive movement and the notched laces help to remain firmly fastened.

ZoomX Midsole and Five Spike Configuration

Ultra-light and super-responsive, the midsole material delivers Nike's greatest energy return yet; it absorbs impact and then expels it back for a bounce-like effect. This energy-return technology reduces superfluous muscle power, diminishes fatigue and enhances performance, keeping you going longer. Embedded within the generous ZoomX midsole, complementing its responsive nature, is a full-length plate intended to minimise energy loss during toe bend without increasing demand on the calf. Springing up under your heel as you stride forward, yielding the snappy, propulsive sensation that converts into extra-energised strides. The plate has been fused to the outsole, with a Five Spike configuration that provides extra grip and traction on cross-country running surfaces, helping to dig deep on the often soggy, muddy ground below.
