Nike Wildhorse 10 Women's Trail Running Shoes

Roam your favourite trails or go for that technical route you've always wanted to try in the Wildhorse 10. Nike has upgraded the ride from the previous iteration to ReactX foam. And their go-to trail traction pattern works with a lightweight upper, allowing you to embrace tough terrain.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Sporting an all-new upper, the design on the Wildhorse 10 combines an engineered mesh with open holes to allow breathability. Perforations in the upper allow air to flow throughout the shoe whilst in motion, making sure trapped air is released as the foot flexes, keeping you feeling fresh for longer periods of time. Using a construction that minimises seams in the upper, reducing irritation from rubbing to provide next-to-skin comfort, especially during the most rigorous trail running endeavours. Nike have included a well-placed plastic toe cap to ensure toes are shielded when venturing over rockier terrain, whilst a secured ankle collar prevents dirt and debris from entering your shoe during your run. Featuring a padded tongue to ensure a snug fit, this works alongside the traditional lacing system by centring the laces, effectively locking down the midfoot. To complete the upper, the Wildhorse 10 features reflective detailing to ensure optimum safety when in low-light conditions.

ReactX Midsole

Updated from their predecessors, the Wildhorse 10 features a ReactX midsole to provide you with soft, responsive cushioning and excellent energy return with a lower carbon footprint. ReactX is 13% more responsive than previous React, providing comfort in the longest of miles. When striking hard surfaces, the impact is absorbed through the midsole and then compressed and released as you step into the next stride, propelling you forward. Also featuring a Rock Plate in the forefoot shields your feet from sharp objects like rocks and roots, while providing added stability over uneven terrain.

Trail ATC Outsole

Designed with reduced weight in mind, the ATC Outsole provides excellent grip and traction whilst keeping you light on your feet. The outsole has been split into two zones with a central exposed frame to drop unnecessary weight. Utilising alternating directional lugs on the forefoot and heel, the Wildhorse 10 allows for minimised slippage in wet and soggy conditions over long trail adventures. The 4mm lugs provide plenty of grip whilst traversing more technical runs, keeping you confident as they dig deep into the ground below.
