Featuring The North Face's FUTURELIGHT 3L shell fabric with DWR coating, the Summit Series Torre Egger FUTURELIGHT is exceptionally breathable and waterproof. Allowing air and vapour to permeate through the garment, FUTURELIGHT keeps you fresh and comfortable, even during intense periods of your hiking endeavours. The jacket offers optimum waterproofing, keeping you dry in the worst downpours. This combination prevents overheating in changing weather conditions. The three-layer fabric is highly durable, lightweight and stretchy and underarm gussets improve mobility and breathability, while underarm vents enhance breathability to keep you comfortable. The garment uses YKK AquaGuard FLATKNIT zips, which reduce bulk while increasing flexibility. A centre front zip with an internal draft flap with laser-cut perforations provides easy on/off and airflow control. The jacket has multiple pockets for your essentials, including two zipped chest pockets for stashing smaller items and two mesh internal drop-in pockets. The jacket has an attached adjustable helmet-compatible hood with a bonded brim, shielding you from changing weather without disrupting your vision. To carry a backpack comfortably, the garment has seamless shoulders, which also reduces bulk. For a perfect fit and feel, bonded adjustable hook-and-loop cuff tabs prevent wind chill, and an internal cinch cord with a riveted cord lock at the hem allows adjustments.
