adidas Terrex Soulstride Ultra Trail Running Shoes

Inspired by comfort and adventure, the Terrex Soulstride Ultra Trail Running Shoes energise every step with an adidas Lightstrike and BOOST midsole. A curved rocker shape enables a smooth stride through rough terrain. The Continental Rubber outsole offers a secure grip over roots and rock, wet or dry.

Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper of these shoes are crafted from an engineered mesh that provides unparalleled comfort and breathability. This stretchy upper delivers a sock-like fit for advanced comfort and control and is covered in micro-perforations. These micro-perforations allow heat, vapour and moisture to escape, whilst simultaneously encouraging fresh air to enter and circulate. This provides a pleasant cooling sensation, which leaves your feet feeling fresh and cool. The upper offers flexibility and support, and it's paired with an internal sock to improve the fit. A traditional lacing system anchors the shoe to the foot securely for superior stability and control, reducing the risk of injury and providing responsive wear. TPU overlays provide added durability and abrasion resistance in key areas, protecting the foot from sharp debris and ensuring long-wearing durability. The gusseted tongue protects the foot from pressure from the laces and blocks debris from entering the shoe whilst raised sidewalls offer extra stability.

BOOST Light and Lightstrike Midsole

A BOOST Light midsole is embedded into the Soulstride Ultra which is 30% lighter than the standard BOOST foam. The BOOST foam compound provides endless energy return from heel strike through to the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. It features hundreds of visible energy capsules that store and unleash endless energy every time your foot hits the ground, meaning that every step is charged. When your heel hits the floor, the BOOST particles compress and store kinetic energy; as you transition through to mid-stance, the BOOST particles relax and release their stored energy, which propels you forward with an explosive take-off. The BOOST midsole will change your runs forever thanks to its energy-returning properties. In addition, the shoes also feature a full-length unit of Lightstrike foam, which is a lightweight compound that supports explosive movements and helps propel you forward, helping you pick up those new PBs.

Continental Rubber Outsole

Developed using a Continental rubber outsole, the adidas Terrex Soulstride Ultra ensures extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental rubber supplies traction on varied surfaces supplying you with amazing and secure footing on uneven surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. The outsole is designed to be extremely durable, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy trail running shoe.
