Perforations within the material allow for air to flow in and around the shoe, providing space for the warm air to be released, keeping feet feeling fresh and dry. adidas have used RAIN.RDY technology to weatherproof the hike ahead, effectively shielding from rain and mud for prolonged periods of time. A textile lining sits within the upper material to provide comfort and minimise the possibility of irritation from rubbing, while synthetic overlays sit atop of the upper to protect feet from possible bumps and snags. Also featuring cushioned tongue and collar, the Terrex Ax4R Hiking Boots provide a snug fit against the ankle whilst blocking dirt and debris from entering. A traditional lacing system has also been included to effectively lock down the midfoot securely to minimise in shoe slippage for all users. To complete the upper is a heel tab to allow wearers to easily slip boots on before lacing up for the adventure ahead.
