Tap into speed and push past your limits in these high-performance shoes. The adidas Adizero Prime X3 Strung pair innovative technologies to create a lightweight, cushioned race shoe for chasing your personal best. A tuned Strung upper supports the foot, and the three-layer Lightstrike midsole maximises comfort. A top carbon plate paired with carbon fibre-infused ENERGYRODS 2.0 fuels every stride with forward energy while reducing weight for chasing speed.
Uniquely designed, the upper on the Adizero Prime X3 Strung features a dense, interlaced web of threads that make up a well-structured material that expertly promotes airflow throughout. This distinctive design promotes incredible durability with highly abrasive material, increasing the shoe's longevity, protecting it from possible rips and holes, and allowing you to get the most out of this highly reliable shoe. Breathability is promoted within the Prime X3 Strung, as the foot flexes, warm air is released effectively to allow fresh, cool air to enter, keeping you cool over longer wear time. A textile lining sits under the outer material, with moisture-wicking properties. The lining controls excessive moisture build-up, preventing in-shoe slipping and further promoting that fresh feeling for maximised motivation. The upper includes a knit tongue that effectively wraps around the top of the foot for a snug fit, minimising movement and preventing irritation from possible rubbing. A traditional lacing system has been added to lock down the midsole for a secure fit.
Featuring three layers of adidas' iconic Lightstrike Pro foam, the Adizero Prime X3 Strung maximises stack and power underfoot. With a stack height of 50mm, your joints are protected from unforgiving surfaces below as shock is effectively absorbed into the foam, before being released as increased energy return. This provides propulsive movement, enhancing your overall performance. Sitting within the midsole is a full-length carbon fibre plate, assisting in smooth transitions as you stride through the gait cycle. The carbon plate has been designed to create more responsiveness throughout your run and help propel you forward. Complementing the carbon plate is adidas' carbon-infused ENERGYRODS 2.0 technology, which supports your foot as you run and helps to limit energy loss, helping you to push further for longer. This technology is an all-in-one piece for harmonious stiffness and energy return.
Developed using a Continental and LIGHTTRAXION rubber outsole, the Adizero Prime Strung X 3 ensures extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Adidas have strategically placed the rubber to maximise grip and traction while keeping the weight of the shoe down. The LIGHTTRAXION outsole is a lightweight rubber that stretches across the base of the shoe, providing assured stability over a variety of surfaces while being highly durable to protect you underfoot. The Continental Rubber has been focused on the toe to ensure clean toe-offs with maximised grip, with minimal slip.
