Minimal mesh upper
Forming the upper for the ASICS Gel Flux 5 is a minimal mesh upper providing excellent breathability through out the shoes. The minimal construction is lightweight reducing the overall weight of the shoe, allowing you to run faster for longer. Providing support in the mid foot are seamless overlays that secure the foot comfortably without additional bulk.Securing your foot in place is a traditional lacing system which allows a more personalised fit making your run more stable, reducing in shoe slippage.
SpEVA foam midsole
Providing your foot with excellent cushioning and comfort is the SpEVA midsole which in every step gives you an extra spring to propel you forward, perfect for reducing fatigue, when on short to medium runs. An EVA sock liner enhance the over all comfort of the shoe providing a plush fit and feel. The rear of the foot includes a gel unit to provide additional shock absorption to reduce impact when heel striking.

AHAR heel plug
Providing superb grip is the solid rubber outsole, with durable traction to last due to its hard wearing compound, you will have no issue putting in the miles on hard surfaces such as roads and pavement. Through the heel an AHAR Heel plug is used for abrasion resistance in a high wear area. Through the sole unit flex grooves are positioned to provide a more natural fit and feel to increase ground contact to enhance grip leaving you confident on hard surfaces.
