ASICS GT-2000 14 Women's Running Shoes

The GT-2000 14 is designed to help provide a more energetic ride and a supportive running experience. A trampoline forefoot pod is positioned on the medial side of the outsole. This helps produce better stability and a more balanced toe-off.

Woven Mesh Upper

Engineered using a woven mesh upper, the GT-2000 14 allows cool air to circulate, whilst at the same time, removing unwanted warm air, helping create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. The lightweight materials are super flexible, ensuring unrestricted movement and a comfortable, secure fit. The materials have moisture-wicking properties to prevent a build-up of sweat and moisture by dispersing it through the construction of the fabric, further ensuring you remain dry and comfortable during sweaty and hot sessions. The asymmetric tongue wing provides a comfortable and secure feel around the midfoot while reducing tongue movement. A traditional lacing system locks the midfoot for a secure fit and also helps prevent in-shoe slippage. Completing the upper are reflective elements that enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

FF Blast Max Midsole

For cloud-like, bouncy wearing and super comfortable strides from start to finish, the GT-2000 14 utilises ASICS's most responsive FF Blast Max foam cushioning. Updated using a brand new midsole compound from their predecessors, the FF Blast Max increases bounce properties, meaning even more comfort, softness and outstanding responsiveness. The foam provides excellent cushioning and energy return to help spare your joints and provide the quick flying feeling you need from your running shoes. The energy spared will allow you to go further and faster, using less effort, alongside a generous stack height to provide you with the full effect. Working alongside this, the shoes also feature Rearfoot GEL technology, which improves softness, with shock-absorbing properties to reduce the risks of injuries or discomfort when striking down on harder surfaces. PureGEL also helps with smoother heel-toe transitions as your foot rolls, and the increased heel bevel and forefoot flare assist with this. The GT-2000 14 features ASICS' 3D Guidance System technology, consisting of distinct components designed to provide stability by guiding the foot naturally. Completing the midsole is an Ortholite X-30 Sockliner, which ensures under comfort and moisture-wicking properties for a cooler, dryer environment.

AHARPLUS LO Outsole

The outsole of the GT-2000 has been designed from AHAR LO rubber. ASICS's low-density, high-abrasion rubber is a tough compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas, cutting excessive wear. The high-abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath the outsole keeps you in full control. An AHARPLUS heel plug rubber also resides on the outsole to enhance traction, and lastly, a trampoline outsole pod located on the medial side captures more energy return for an enhanced bouncing effect during toe-off.
