Mesh Upper
Following a no-sew design, the mesh upper of the Gel-Venture 11 promotes great breathability and in-shoe comfort made to last. Perforations within the mesh allow for better breathability surrounding the foot, allowing warm air to escape and in turn make room for fresh cool air. The seamless design minimises rubbing and keeps irritation at bay, letting you concentrate fully on the trail ahead. Overlays have been added surrounding the material, promoting durability for long lasting shoes whilst also protecting your feet from possible bumps and snags along unpredictable paths. A heel tab has been added to assist with easy slip-on to get you up and out as soon as possible, while a traditional lacing system has been used to lock down the midfoot for a secure fit.
AMPLIFOAM PLUS Midsole
With a 2mm higher stack than in the previous model, the Gel-Venture 11 utilises AMPLIFOAM PLUS for maximised impact absorption and cushioning. The midsole offers a soft and bouncy ride over uneven terrain, muting the feel of jagged stones and sharp twigs underfoot, absorbing shock as you strike down. The absorbed shock is held within the foam, shielding your joints, before releasing the built pressure within your following strides as highly propulsive built up energy. While also being highly responsive, the foam is durable to use, keeping its springy feel use after use as it is engineered to maintain cushioning properties and flexibility. Atop the midsole is a OrthoLite Hybrid Max Lite Sockliner, providing even more cushioning underfoot, with moisture wicking properties to drag sweat away from the skin for a dry and comfortable fit.
Molded Rubber Outsole
Providing grip and traction over a variety of surfaces, the molded rubber outsole proves to be reliable from start to finish. The rubber helps you stick to surfaces whether that is rain-slicked rocks or muddy fields, confidence is kept high and you stay hyper focused. The material is also shock-attenuating, protecting your feet from the impact.
