Blending responsibly sourced, water-resistant goose down with a streamlined design, this Fuego Gilet is the perfect outer layer and mid-layer in one.
Designed for those in-between weather days that don't quite warrant a jacket or as a core-warming layer under a shell to keep you extra cosy, the Cotopaxi Fuego Down Gilet has you covered. Created using 100% 20D ripstop nylon with a DWR finish, this gilet is highly durable and provides plenty of protection in those light showers of rain. Keeping you warm is the 800-fill responsibly sourced, water-resistant down, the down traps pockets of air, which in turn trap warmth from your body, giving you the comfort and insulation you need when the temperatures start to drop. Helping to trap the heat in is an adjustable drawcord at the hem, keeping the gilet closer to the body. This also features elasticated armholes that fit closer under the arm to retain any heat that may escape. Providing storage for your essentials and small items the gilet includes two zippered hand pockets and two interior stash pockets. A full front zip assists in easy on/ off whilst monitoring ventilation. The gilet can be packed into an internal pocket taking up little room in a pack if no longer needed. The Fuego gilet also features an updated fit, compared to previous models with a little more breathing room in the hips, chest and waist.
