GORE-TEX Upper

Utilising a Nubuck Leather fabric, the Ridge II GORE-TEX protects feet on future hiking trails, with a durable design to keep you confident in your shoes. To ensure dry feet in wet, soggy weather, the Ridge II GORE-TEX features a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane. The membrane stops water and moisture from entering the shoes, ensuring you remain comfortable, even through poor and changing conditions. Working with a warp knit fabric, the uppers of the Ridge II have areas of strategic breathability to keep feet feeling fresh throughout your outdoor endeavours. This soft, flexible upper wraps comfortably across your feet for the perfect fit and free mobility within the shoes. Moisture-wicking properties help to reduce the build-up of sweat and moisture, for dry, fresh feet through active periods of your adventure. For confident strides and protected feet, the shoes have moulded rubber reinforced toes and heels alongside abrasive resistant reinforcements for protection on tough trails, which also helps to prevent damage from bumps and bashes. A gussetted tongue stops water and sand from entering the shoes, and sits soft against your foot. Working with the laces, the tongue and collar lock down the midfoot for a secure, locked-in fit and confident strides on the trails.

EVA Midsole

A full-length EVA midsole offers outstanding cushioning and protection from constantly changing terrain, so you can hike in comfort. The midsole also absorbs shocks as your foot strikes the ground, reducing strain on the foot. The EVA compound absorbs the energy created from heel striking and expels it through your next step, where it can be used to catapult you forward. Extra cushioning in the rearfoot ensures soft, plush comfort during heel strikes, making those tricky descents easier to tackle.

Durable Rubber Outsole

Keeping you stable with a variety of surfaces, especially rocky, wet and grassy terrain, the Ridge II features a durable rubber outsole. With long-lasting reliability, the outsole is super durable with excellent grip and traction for added support and keeping you in control of your hike. Adorning the outsole are deep lugs which anchor your feet into soggy, muddy and slippery surfaces for confident strides.
