Hi-Tec have incorporated their signature Dri-Tec technology into the construction of the upper to provide maximum waterproof protection, ensuring your feet remain dry and protected, particularly when running on the light trail or clocking up the miles when walking. The Dri-Tec membrane offers resistance to the wet conditions with superior waterproofing and excellent vapour transmission to keep your feet dry and comfortable. Additionally, the upper delivers moisture-wicking properties to actively and efficiently wick away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture as well as encouraging cool air to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive.
A padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin, preventing friction and irritation such as chafing while a traditional lacing system offers a secure, locked-in feel to keep your feet stable as you move. Synthetic overlays add durability and reinforce the upper against debris and objects you may typically find when out hiking or walking off-road.
A CMEVA compound resides in the midsole to provide ultra-lightweight, impact absorbing cushioning to help improve the comfort. This helps to enhance responsiveness and lessen the wear placed on your knees and joints, particularly when walking or running off the road when the ground is more firm. Shock absorption properties attenuate shock to minimise the impact when landing, offering a more cushioned feel without sacrificing comfort or performance.
Durable rubber comprises the outsole of the Hurricane to ensure optimal grip and traction to deliver a firm, assured footing. Having a reliable outsole ensures you move with confidence knowing you have a shoe you can truly rely on, even on the difficult, unpredictable terrain. The outsole is also highly durable, meaning exceptional stability and control. Strategically placed flex grooves add flexibility and provide a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions so you can improve both focus and performance.
