Dri-Tec Upper

To keep you feeling dry and comfortable no matter what weather is thrown at you, the Monte Viso uses Dri-Tec, a waterproofing membrane to seal moisture out. The membrane is positioned in the middle of the upper, and it will ensure that all moisture is blocked out, preventing it from causing discomfort to your feet. Despite sealing moisture out, the membrane will still allow air to offer ventilation to the feet. This will mean that the constant flow will also encourage sweat to escape out, keeping you feeling comfortable for longer. The upper is constructed using Nubuck leather which provides you with exceptional durability. The material reinforces the upper, protecting it from forces applied to it, whilst also keeping the shape and construction of the boots protected and structured. Thick material covers the toes, protecting them from any bumps and knocks from rocks when out walking. The heel is held in a healthy and supported position, with overlays providing strong protection to the rearfoot area. Up the feet, the laces are extremely easy to tighten for a completely personalised and comfortable fit. An extremely soft and padded tongue will sit comfortably over the ankle, removing the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing. The high and padded ankle collar will feel soft against the ankle, and will also block out all debris for complete comfort.

Dual Density PU Midsole

Having a dual-density midsole will provide multiple functions and benefits to your feet, resulting in long days out on the trails feeling exceptionally comfortable. The midsole will guarantee comfort through cushioning, as material is able to compress on every step that you take. As well as feeling comfortable directly on the sole of the feet, it will also provide comfort to joints. The cushioned feel will take the stress off the knees and ankles, protecting them from excessive forces to prevent injuries from occurring, as well as reducing the risk of fatigue. The second layer of midsole is again designed to protect the feet, but this is from shocks under the foot. The material will absorb sudden sharp forces and shocks, preventing them from reaching the sole of the feet and causing pain. The midsole is able to flex, which will mean that you will always feel mobile and able to cover a lot of distance with ease. The flex of the midsole will also provide you with the rebound, giving you an added spring in every step.

Vibram Outsole

A Vibram Outsole gives you a strong and rigid rubber compound platform that improves durability and traction for tackling the more rugged terrains while a Rubber Rand provides improved protection when wearing crampons/snow grips. The rubber is extremely durable, and will stand up against hard surfaces causing damage.
