Super-Tough Upper

Providing superior levels of protection and shielding you against wear and snags, the X-Talon 212 uses a highly durable upper. Designed to protect your feet from rough ground and dense vegetation in confidence. The upper resists wear for longer, giving you the longevity needed to help you over the finish line whether that is in trail, fell, cross country and obstacle course racing. Featuring Inov8 technologies such a MET-CRADLE, which creates a locked-in feel by creating a supportive cradle between the top of your foot and your arch, helping you feel more stable when running over uneven terrain. Also showcasing a protective rubber toe guard to shield you from direct bumps and keep you focused on the trail ahead. A gusseted tongue ensures minimal slippage within the shoe, this collaboratively works alongside the lacing system to lock down the midfoot, ensuring you have confident footing throughout.

Injected EVA Midsole

To provide a balance of lightweight cushioning and responsiveness, the X-Talon 212 midsole has been designed to be durable yet comfortable on rough terrain while also being thin enough to allow the shoe to remain flexible and provide a natural, connected feel with the ground. With a variety of terrains in mind, the midsole has been kept on the thinner side, to maximise drainage in wet conditions and leave behind added water weight. This also means the foot is able to flex naturally to provide a responsive and agile feel.

STICKYGRIP Rubber Outsole

Delivering incredible traction over wet or thick mud, you will find yourself flying over soft ground with assistance from the X-Talon 212's STICKYGRIP outsole. Providing uncompromising grip, with its aggressive 8mm deep lugs gouging through the thickest and ooziest of mud. By spreading the lugs evenly across the outsole, mud is less likely to be stuck within the gaps, assuring incredible traction for the entirety of your run. Inov8 have included the FASCIA BAND technology which protects the plantar fascia from the bottom of the shoe. It is inspired by the biomechanics of the human foot and shields the feet from unexpected injury below. Alongside this, the outsole also features META-FLEX grooves, helping you stabilise over uneven terrain by allowing the natural flex of the foot as you transition through the gait cycle. To complete the X-Talon 212, the outsole features gaiter hooks to allow you the option of adding gaiters for further protection.
