Mizuno Wave Midsole
A high-density EVA insert in the rear foot delivers plush in-step cushioning and a premium level of stability. U4icX technology has been added to the construction of the Wave Lynx 2. U4icX is an evolutionary lightweight midsole that provides cushioned comfort and high rebound. Creating a snug fit, the rear of the foot is locked in place to reduce in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free match. The high-density EVA further works to attenuate shock impact at the heel when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces, sparing joints from aches and pains. Working with Mizuno Wave technology and a cushioned wall, the midsole absorbs shock impact at foot strike, dispersing the energy to deliver a smooth, more cushioned feel with every step. A removable insole provides cushioned comfort from the instep with the option for a customisable fit.
X10 Rubber Outsole
A durable rubber X10 outsole provides superb traction on the court for quick and dynamic movement. Specifically designed Dynamotion flex grooves adorn the outsole to improve stability and agility on the court during fast lateral movements and twists and turns.
