The Anti Freeze is a lightweight insulated down gilet suitable both for basecamp and up to the summit.
For instant body warmth and comfort, the Anti Freeze gilet from Montane utilises Pertex Quantum technology within the 20D nylon ripstop. Pertex Quantum is windproof, durable and highly water-resistant for complete protection in harsh changing conditions. The fabric features an ultra-thin water-resistant coating on the inside and a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish on the outer side to provide reliable weather protection. The 800+ Fill Power ExpeDRY duck down contains non-toxic gold particles bonded to it for fast drying performance and industry-leading warmth. These gold particles vibrate any water that seeps in to speed up evaporation, ensuring the down dries quickly and stays dry in high humidity and extreme conditions. For silky smooth wear, the Anti Freeze Gilet has been lined with PEAQ fabric for improved moisture management, allowing perspiration and excess body heat to escape. A stitch-through baffle construction has been used to reduce the overall weight of the gilet, featuring insulated pockets in the fabric that allow air to pass through the seams while retaining body heat; additionally, the seams have been offset to reduce cold spots and enhance heat retention while retaining body heat. The centre front zip has a placket attached, preventing heat loss when it is zipped up. To personalise the fit, an adjustable hem has been used helping you entrap heat within the jacket. Pack-compatible hand pockets can be found on either side of the gilet and are securely zipped shut with the YKK zips. Finally, a cube stuff sack is included with the gilet to allow you to stash it away for easy carrying.
