Engineered Mesh Upper with GORE-TEX Lining

The upper has been crafted from a stretchy, soft mesh that swathes your feet. They are highly adaptable, moulding to the shape of your foot for a secure yet comfortable fit. The mesh is highly breathable, thanks to micro-perforations. They allow built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst fresh air flows in for a pleasant cooling experience. A GORE-TEX lining supplies waterproof protection without sacrificing the airflow, so you stay dry from the inside out. Built on an MR-10 last, it delivers a great, consistent fit. A heel counter provides stability and support, and is combined with the traditional lacing system for a locked-in fit. This provides a secure feel that inspires confidence, allowing you to push your limits without worrying about in-shoe slippage. The padded tongue, lining, and heel collar supply a plush feel, while the heel loop helps make putting on/off quick and easy. The upper is finished with reflective elements, ensuring you remain visible during those low-light, late-night and early-morning training sessions.

Dual-Density ZoomX and ReactX Midsole

A highly stacked dual-density midsole has been utilised in the Vomero 18 GORE-TEX. 6mm taller than the previous Vomero and the tallest in the line, the midsole delivers a comfort-centric running experience. It features a combination of ZoomX foam through the length of the shoe and ReactX in the heel and forefoot, providing runners with double-stacked cushion for the ultimate ride. ZoomX foam cushioning uses cutting-edge engineering to provide the greatest possible energy return (85%), turning the impact of your step into energy for your next stride. This helps you run further and faster with less exertion. Lightweight, soft and responsive, it offers excellent propulsion whilst sparing your joints as you strike down. ReactX delivers high-level performance whilst striking a balance with environmental impact. Thanks to the inspired manufacturing process, it increases energy return by 13% whilst reducing the carbon footprint by at least 43%. This combination of foams works together to supply comfort and propulsion. Increased rocker geometry has also been integrated for smoother transitions and increased momentum.

Storm-Tread Outsole

The outsole has been constructed from Storm-Tread rubber that resists damage and produces excellent levels of grip in wet and slippery conditions. The traction pattern delivers maximum adhesion, helping you to form a solid bond with the ground beneath.
