Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4 Women's Running Shoes
When fast isn't fast enough, you go beyond. The Deviate NITRO Elite 4 is built for race day - those moments when every second counts.
ULTRAWEAVE Upper
Utilising their ULTRAWEAVE technology, Puma have offered a lightweight and breezy race when you slip into the Deviate NITRO Elite 4s. The ultra-light, engineered fabric features a structured 4-way stretch, reducing weight and friction for the user to ensure a distraction-free run. The material features perforations throughout it for better breathability, allowing for airflow to be maximised around the foot and ensuring freshness from start to finish. The upper also consists of a flat-laying tongue and collar, with reduced padding, so the shoe stays lightweight and minimally distracting during your race. The tongue lies close to the skin, reducing irritation and creating a snug feel. The upper is completed with a traditional lacing system of flat laces for total midfoot lockdown, preventing in-shoe slipping and maximising comfort on the go.
NITROFOAM Elite Midsole
NITROFOAM Elite keeps you feeling light, bouncy and ready for the competition. The premium foam effectively absorbs shock when smacking down on unforgiving surfaces, protecting your feet and joints from the impact. The foam then releases the pressure within your following strides to help maximise propulsion and energy return. Paired with the reengineered PWRPLATE, energy return is maximised. The carbon fibre plate offers a snappy feel, propelling you over the finish line whilst also helping you feel more stable on your feet during quicker strides. Atop the foam is a textile sockliner, further enhancing cushioning whilst also helping to wick moisture away from the foot, keeping you dry and comfortable.
PUMAGRIP Outsole
Providing excellent grip, the PUMAGRIP rubber keeps you confident in your footing. This rubber outsole compound is durable and made to last long periods, for prolonged control on the roads. It has been strategically placed along the outsole in key-impact areas, such as the forefoot and heel, for strong toe-offs and confident corners. By removing rubber from the midfoot, weight is kept to a minimum to keep speed up and drag down.
