Synthetic Mesh Upper
Providing complete waterproofing and breathability, the upper of the shoe has a durable GORE-TEX membrane, which will keep you in complete protection from the weather on the trails. Blocking out all moisture, the membrane will act as a shield, stopping all moisture from entering and causing discomfort and dampness. The strong material will keep the feet in a healthy and supported position. In low abrasion areas, the breathable mesh helps to minimise the weight as well as adding the necessary ventilation required to keep your feet irritation free. The use of synthetic leather in the upper requires no break-in, whilst offering ample protection. An H-EVA insole further enhances the comfort.
Dual Density EVA Midsole
The dual-density EVA midsole features a 10mm drop and provides a supremely plush cushioned feel to help on difficult terrain and keep your feet protected as you clock up the miles, without putting too much strain on your joints. A heel cage adds stability and support to provide a rigidity about the shoe. Reflective detailing on the heel cage offers improved visibility and safety in low-light conditions.
Vibram Megagrip Outsole
The shoe is designed for heavy runners over long distances and is built for multi-purpose training so you can get the best, most versatile performance no matter where you are. With a durable feel, the shoes are suitable for both running and hiking. The Vibram Megagrip outsole is able to form a solid contact with a wide range of different surfaces, anchoring your feet in place for a firm and solid base to push on from. Multi-directional lugs and grooves will anchor your feet in place on wet and slippy ground.
