Constructed using a synthetic mesh upper, the Curry 7 Basketball Shoes encases each foot in breathable comfort. The mesh knit allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, sucking in cool, fresh air while at the same time pushing out hot, muggy air. This system creates a microclimate within the shoes that allows you to feel comfortable on any court. Together with the full knit, locked-down lacing ensuring a precise 360-degree fit and feel. Preventing in shoe slippage the knit construction ensures support, structure and an abundance of comfort. The lightweight nature of the upper ensures optimised speed and agility so you can reach new highs on court. Completing the upper is a sock-like construction reduces the risks of irritation and chafing. An external TPU heel counter adds stability and support, which is essential on the court ensuring your ankles remain well protected. Finishing off the 7 is an internal counter lining provides immediate step-in comfort and stability
Designed to give you a 'zero-gravity feel' over the course of a long or short run, the HOVR technology midsole will work to eliminate the feel of impact on every step that you take. Additionally, a full length speed plate is a new feature to the Curry 7 keeping you on your toes and giving you that added edge to breeze past defenders. Micro G foam makes up the midsole, supplying excellent cushioning, attenuating shock upon impact. The midsole unit turns cushioned landings into explosive takeoffs by taking the impact forces and transferring them to the forefoot where it acts like a slingshot bouncing you off into your next step.
For supreme grip and traction to keep you in firm control on the court, the split outsole design has designed with a unique court pattern. This will dig into the surface of the court, and with strategically positioned grooves and lugs, it will aide with certain movements like changes of direction and takeoffs. The rubber on the outsole is able to form a solid bond with the ground, which will give you firm grip and traction, holding you into place. Able to look after itself over a long course of time, the rubber is extremely durable, which means that it won't lose its definition and shape over a long course of time.
