<p> Ripstop mesh uppers will encase each foot in durable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoes, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; so sweat is kept to a minimum and you are kept cool and comfy. TPU overlays swathe the foot to improve support plus durability, they help to anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. A moulded TPU toe cap reinforces the Terrex Swift R2's trail-worthy state by defending feet against roots, rocks and other general hazards, and the Lace Bungee stows laces to help avoid tangling. </p>

<p> EVA resides in the midsole to supply lightweight and resilient cushioning. The generous platform helps to spare your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving ground. A TPU midfoot support structure works to increase the shoe's torsional rigidity, preventing twisting and reducing risk of injury by creating a stable platform for you to tackle tricky terrain on.  </p>
