Altra Lone Peak Alpine Trail Running Shoes
Where Long Peak performance meets all-day versatility and a more casual look for everyday use.
Hemp Canvas Upper
The Lone Peak Alpine Shoes provide you perfectly for all your adventures, from trail running to exploring town, and to add to the stylish nature, they feature a hemp canvas upper. The canvas materials comfortably protect your feet, whilst still allowing them to breathe under pressure, by keeping feet cool and comfortable. Providing you with a long-lasting pair of shoes, the Lone Peak Alpine's utilise a suede overlay, ensuring that your feet are protected from knocks and bumps on the road. To supply toes with space to splay during each stride, the shoes have a Footshape toe box, giving you more space and more comfort. These stylish shoes have a traditional lace-up closure, providing feet with a locked-in fit, whilst also preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.
EGO Foam Midsole
The Lone Peak Alpine features an EGO midsole that adds cushioning and flexibility ideal for trail running. Maintaining the same stack height of 25mm as the Lone Peak 5 and 6s, the Alpine midsole contains many areas with features that provide the shoe with extreme responsive rebound and cushioning, as well as the standard EVA that also protects and rebounds. The cushioning sits directly underneath the foot, which reduces ground impact, returning the energy as a spring for each step that you take. The feet sit on the midsole on a zero-drop platform. This means the heel and the forefoot are the same distance from the ground, encouraging proper low-impact form throughout your run.
DuraTread Outsole
Staying in complete control is crucial on the trails. With the DuraTread outsole, you can run with confidence that you will not be let down, thanks to the great traction underfoot. The durable rubber provides you with the perfect combination of grip and traction, making volatile surfaces incredibly easy to defeat. The Trailclaw lugs underneath are positioned strategically beneath the metatarsals, making toe-offs and sudden bursts count more.
