ASICS Gel-Flux 6 Women's Running Shoes
The new ASICS Gel-Flux 6 Running Shoe is for women who strive to run further than they ever thought possible. Designed with an updated midsole, offering even more neutral energising cushioning than ever before, this breathable running shoe ensures a secure fit with extra breathability.
Seamless Mesh Upper
The seamless mesh upper of the Gel-Flux 6 encases the foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric allow heat and vapour to escape whilst encouraging fresh air to flow in for a pleasant cooling sensation. The seamless construction ensures a chafe-free fit without hot spots and chafing. A traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot ensuring comfort and control. No-sew panelling provides support and structure.
Amplifoam Midsole
The midsole contains ASICS' groundbreaking Amplifoam technology. Designed to work with all 33 joints in the foot, this technology provides soft cushioning constructed at a lower density, which protects it from breaking down. The Amplifoam unit which is engineered to maintain durability at softer densities, providing better flexibility, comfort and platform adaptability ideal for natural running. Lightweight and resilient, Amplifoam spares your joints as you strike hard, unforgiving surfaces. Further embedded within this platform is the Rearfoot Gel Cushioning System. This technology reduces shock during the impact phase, sparing your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving terrain and allowing for a peaceful transition to mid-stance. Guidance Line technology also exists within the midsole to increase gait efficiency. The vertical flex groove which decouples the tooling along the line of progression to provide a smooth transition through the gait cycle.
Solid Rubber Outsole
The tough, durable rubber used on the shoe's outsole is abrasion-resistant, preventing any damage from occurring over a long period of time exposed to hard ground. The rubber compound offers a higher density of rubber in high-impact areas of the outsole where the most wear occurs throughout the miles, this helps reduce the wear and tear allowing you to run harder and for longer.
