ASICS Gel-Pursue 7 Women's Running Shoes

The ASICS Gel-Pursue Running Shoe is the neutral version of the GT-2000 9 trainer. It's a functional design for runners who want a comfortable neutral running shoe with a supportive and responsive ride.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing you with a breathable running experience, the shoes utilise a soft mesh upper construction, which works to provide a constant flow of air throughout the shoes whilst being comfortable against the foot for irritation-free strides. Strategically placed perforations through the upper, keep feet feeling cool and comfortable throughout the duration of your running or training sessions, which will also ensure that a build-up of moisture is prevented and that your feet remain dry. The shoes have plush, cushioned collar and tongue that sits comfortably against your foot, to help prevent irritation or chafing from occurring. The shoes also feature no-sew overlays to improve support in the heel area for a locked-in feel. A traditional lace-up closure keeps your foot secure within the shoes, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring. Reflective details keep you safe on low-light running sessions by enhancing your visibility.

FlyteFoam Midsole

Providing you with lightweight cushioning and underfoot comfort, the Gel-Pursue 7's have a FlyteFoam midsole which will also provide you with lightweight and responsive strides. This midsole compound is durable, lightweight and responsive, which also helps to keep things soft underfoot for comfortable strides. Embedded within the midsole is a Rearfoot GEL cushioning system, which helps to attenuate shock during footstrike, sparing your joints as you land onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, and promoting a smooth transition through the gait cycle. Further enhancing the comfort and finishing the midsole of the shoes, ASICS have included an Ortholite insole that provides soft step-in comfort as soon as you put them on.

AHARPLUS Outsole

To supply you with durable underfoot traction, the shoes have an AHARPLUS heel plug. The AHARPLUS compound will help to improve the durability of the shoes, whilst also ensuring you have a grip on a variety of surfaces. The ASICS rubber is lightweight and stronger than standard outsole rubber, due to the bio-based cellulose nanofibre. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction and allow for natural foot flexion providing an easy, unhindered pace. The outsole also features a stability Trusstic piece that provides added torsional rigidity. This helps runners at different stages of their run. This can support runners as soon as they step outside while others need the added support when they get tired and start to fatigue during their run.
