ASICS Gel-Cumulus 27 GORE-TEX Men's Running Shoes

Engineered Mesh Upper

A new, improved engineered mesh upper features on the Gel-Cumulus 27 GORE-TEX, to keep feet fresh through your long or short sessions. The breathable upper is designed to deliver you with a soft, yet cool, adaptive fit. Preventing feet from overheating, the uppers have strategic perforations which allow fresh air to travel through the shoes, preventing a build-up of unwanted, muggy heat, and keeping your feet cool from start to finish. Working with the mesh, a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane provides you with waterproof protection. Preventing water from entering, whilst still ensuring optimum breathability, the GORE-TEX keeps you confident in all conditions. To ensure your feet stay dry from sweat, the shoes have quick-drying properties, to help reduce the risks of discomfort and keep feet free from moisture when you're under immense pressure. The soft materials sit comfortably on your feet, with a seam-free construction to prevent chafing during intense movements, whilst the adaptive fit of the upper wraps snugly around your feet, preventing slipping or excessive movement, for focused, distraction-free runs. The comfortable design of the upper makes it easier to put the shoes on and take them off, thanks to the heel pull tabs, alongside the soft tongue and collar that sit softly against your ankles and feet. Finally, a traditional lace-up provides you with a locked-in, secure fit and prevents in-shoe slipping from occurring during excessive movement or intense running sessions.

100% of the shoe's upper is recycled. ASICS have also used less water and reduced their carbon emissions while producing the shoe's sockliner, and the insole, toe box, eyelet, tongue and collar lining are all made from recycled materials. Better for you, better for the environment.

FF Blast Plus Midsole

Super lightweight and full of energy, the Gel-Cumulus 27 features an FF Blast Plus midsole for cloudlike, comfortable strides across long and short-distance adventures. This premium cushioning propels you forward into each step, keeping you focused on the run ahead and ensuring you remain comfortable underfoot. Increasing the height of the stack, the extra cushioning keeps your feet feeling energetic and ready to tackle whatever the pavement throws at you. Working alongside this, the midsole features PureGEL technology, which has been strategically placed under the heel to absorb shocks when striking down on hard, tough surfaces for soft, cushioned landings. This provides smooth heel-to-toe transitions so that your feet can comfortably pound the pavement with the aim of that next PB. Finally, an OrthoLite X-30 sockliner works in tandem to add extra cushioning and provides you with soft, step-in comfort.

FluidRide Outsole

For optimum grip across a range of road running surfaces, the Gel-Cumulus 27 adorns a durable, grippy FluidRide outsole. This comfortable outsole keeps you stable and secure with the ground below, whilst providing smooth heel-to-toe transitions for natural strides. For all-round comfort, the durable outsole will keep things soft and comfortable on changing roads and pavements, whilst grooves supply some underfoot flexibility to allow more natural movement of your feet.
