Synthetic Mesh Upper

Made from a synthetic mesh upper, the Brooks Ariel '20 will provide your feet with a comfortable climate for running. The warm air that builds up within the shoe once you start running will easily be able to escape out of the shoe. Once removed, the shoe will then allow in cooler air from the outside, which will keep the feet feeling fresh and ventilated. This will mean that you will feel a cool and controlled environment. Sweat will be able to escape out of the material before it is wicked away which will again leave you in comfort. Surrounding the forefoot, the material is thicker which will protect the toes from any bumps and knocks that they might receive when out running. The heel is also held in a firm and upright position as there are strong walls surround it. This will keep it in a healthy and strong position. Up the foot, the laces are easily tightened and loosened for a comfortable and secure fit. The tongue and ankle collar is soft and padded, which will secure the foot comfortably and reduce the risk of irritation by rubbing and chafing.

DNA Midsole

Using Brooks' innovative midsole, the DNA will provide an extremely responsive and smooth ride. Towards the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is extremely firm and will stop any sharp impacts from bumps reach the sole of the foot. The further up the midsole you go, the more cushioned the EVA becomes, and this will feel extremely soft under the foot. The midsole uses BioGoMo DNA which will provide premium performance. Made using non-toxic and an organic additive, you will get 30% more cushioning and two times more energy return in each step than in a standard EVA midsole. No matter what your running style or pace is, the midsole will give you a smooth and good quality of performance no matter what. Guide Rails help to keep your body on its natural path of motion to allow more stable, efficient strides; it delivers on-demand support, allowing your hips, knees, and joints to move the way you naturally do. Completing the midsole is ideal pressure zones which disperse impacts and reduce the stress placed upon joints so you can enjoy an effortless ride.

Durable Rubber Outsole

Made from extremely durable rubber, the outsole will keep you in firm control on the roads. The rubber is abrasion resistant and will stand up to abuse from below. This will mean that it will keep its shape and definition over a long period of time. The rubber itself will be able to grip onto a wide range of uneven surfaces. This will keep you in firm control, reducing the risk of slipping. There are also multi-directional lugs and grooves which will dig into the ground and anchor you into place. This will assist with certain movements like take-offs, sudden changes of direction and coming to a stop.
