MATRYX Woven Upper
Designed using a MATRYX woven upper, the Cascadia Elite has been crafted to be exceptionally lightweight and exceptionally breathable. The material allows cool air to circulate, whilst at the same time, removing unwanted warm air, helping to regulate temperature to ensure you remain cool at all times. It will also allow moisture from sweat to escape easily, keeping your feet in a dry and comfortable environment where they can thrive. The Matryx upper has been combined with Kevlar fibres that have been woven together to provide an abrasion-resistant finish that keeps your feet and shoes protected from rocks and trail debris. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.

Designed using Brooks' lightest and most responsive midsole yet, the Cascadia Elite utilises a DNA GOLD foam to offer exceptional comfort and energy return. The midsole promotes a quick turnover, while precisely tuned layers of cushioning efficiently absorb impact, protecting your joints as you strike down on challenging surfaces. This responsive cushioning helps you maintain a feeling of freshness, even in the later stages of your race. Sandwiched between the layers of DNA GOLD is a carbon-infused Pebax SpeedVault+ trail plate, which is engineered to propel you forward for efficient strides, ensuring that your energy expenditure directly translates into speed throughout your race.
Vibram Megagrip Elite Outsole
The Cascadia Elite features a Vibram Megagrip Elite outsole, a high-performance, sticky rubber that delivers exceptional grip and traction on both dry and wet surfaces. The outsole also incorporates flex grooves, which are strategically cut from the midsole to reduce overall weight and enhance traction by allowing your foot to move naturally and provide a larger surface area. Additionally, Vibram Litebase lugs further increase grip and confidence, even on the trickiest of trails.
