Low-cut trail running sock with clever cushioning and wraparound ankle support for optimal stability and freshness on demanding mountain races

Designed to promote stability over tricky trails and uneven surfaces, the Ultra Trail Low Socks have built-in technologies to do exactly that. An X-Strap has been added to the socks; this is a wraparound ankle strap with compressive qualities to hold the ankle in place over rugged and uneven terrain, protecting you from injury. For further support, thicker terry bands have been added along the underfoot and focused at the base of the Achilles to lift pressure off the arch. Targeted compression areas have been scattered throughout the socks, with 360-degree arch support applying pressure around the midfoot to stabilise the foot as you transition through your gait. For enhanced breathability, mesh has been added along the top of the forefoot, allowing heat to escape and, in turn, be replaced by cool, fresh air. This mesh is also highly sweat-wicking and helps to draw sweat away from the skin for dry comfort until the end of your run. Along the underfoot of the sock, technical dots have been added to further increase breathability, allowing air to circulate. Larger terry dots have been added with the intent to protect the malleolus bones during more technical runs. Finally, a reinforced terry toe box has been utilised, protecting your toes from possible bumps and snags that are common on unpredictable paths, preventing broken nails and bruised joints.
