Woven from 600 denier Polyester yarn and with a thick PA coating, the Deuter AC Lite 16 Backpack is tear-resistant, light and highly versatile. This lightweight and extremely robust fabric is perfectly suited to the manufacture of lightweight products. Top-quality PA coating is a highly technical material that is used for lightweight Alpine and Trekking models. The pack features an advanced Aircomfort system that allows cool air to circulate, helping regulate temperature with contoured, softly padded shoulder straps for extra comfort when carrying a heavy weight. The back system has a resilient core, using a round-profile permanent elastic spring steel frame for stability and security. Soft-touch hip pads also feature, which are specifically designed for comfort, while the adjustable sternum and waist belts add stability to heavy loads, ensuring a more comfortable carry.

The backpack has side mesh pockets that offer a space for items you may need close at hand. An external and internal lid compartment offers storage space, and a top-loader with a drawcord and lid ensures your belongings are locked away. A side smartphone pocket enables you to store your phone safely for peace of mind, and a key clip makes finding your keys easy. Attachment loops allow you to add extra storage to the backpack, and an SOS label provides emergency information if in trouble. The backpack features a rain cover for added water protection if the weather takes a turn on your hikes. The backpack is also compatible with a 2.0-litre hydration system. Pole holders enable you to house your trekking poles when not in use. Lastly, a glasses stow system on the shoulder straps keeps your glasses safely stored. A helmet net can be fitted retroactively should you wish. The pack is also an eco-conscious choice, using PFA-free water-repellent recycled materials and multiple accreditations (ClimatePartner certified, bluesign certified and Green Button certified). This DWR has the added benefit of keeping your kit dry in light rain.
