Creel Jacquard Upper
Constructed with single-layer creel mesh material, the Hoka Mach X has a reduced weight that keeps your feet feeling fresh, no matter the tempo. The creel jacquard engineered mesh upper offers a secure fit that hugs the foot for optimum comfort, flexibility and breathability. By allowing cool air to flow throughout the upper, the shoes work to remove an uncomfortable heat build-up to ensure a healthy environment for the feet to thrive in. A lay-flat gusseted tongue construction is designed to improve the fit and provide you with all-day comfort. An articulated heel collar construction has been designed to ensure a more dialled-in fit that keeps you feeling secure and comfortable when you hit the road running. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
ProflyX Midsole
Supplying you with an exceptionally comfortable, reliable, fast-paced running shoe, the Mach X Running Shoes utilise a ProflyX construction. This adapts to your stride and provides a great balance of support and flexibility. The ProflyX foam helps to reduce injury by cushioning landing and returning this energy by providing you with propulsive toe-offs. The low-profile footbed provided in the shoes keeps your foot closer to the ground, utilising a firmer Pebax material designed to provide an efficient push-off. The PEBA foam present through the midsole section of these shoes is exceptionally cushioned, providing you with exceptionally resilient and reliable landing, with high-rebound cushioning. An early-stage Metarocker is applied to the midsole to increase running efficiency. Metarocker midsole geometry is specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle. This supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off. Softer and snappier than ever before, this midsole provides you with an adaptable shoe that is comfortable enough for endurance efforts, whilst also responding equally well to pace increases.
Durabrasion Rubber Outsole
Providing you with grip and traction across a variety of surfaces, the shoes have a Durabrasion rubber outsole. Providing you with a pair of shoes you can really rely on, the outsoles are exceptionally durable, whilst providing you with the traction you need in high-wearing areas. The durable rubber outsole will keep you in firm control across a wide range of different terrain over a long period of time. Forming a solid bond with the ground, the outsole will anchor you into place, keeping you in a strong and controlled position. The Mach's sole also helps to eliminate excess rubber on the outsole which in turn reduces overall weight.
