This Jack Wolfskin jacket is constructed of Texapore polyester for weather protection and is 100% recycled for reduced CO2 emissions. The Texapore technology is always waterproof, windproof and breathable. The jacket has a weatherproof layer that works hard to wick moisture vapour away to the exterior without allowing raindrops to enter the clothing from the outside. This technology allows protection from the elements whilst remaining highly breathable. This means the jacket is ventilated and works to keep you cool when temperatures rise. The detachable hood and high neck make this perfect for dry, windy or rainy outings.
The Jack Wolfskin Francistown Jacket features a double fastening system with a full-length zip with a buttoned outer flap for extra wind protection. The adjustable drawcord on the inside hem can be left alone for ventilation or tightened to seal in air and keep retain warmth. The jacket has three large outer pockets, all with zips and an inside pocket featuring velcro to secure any personal items. Lastly, there are flat-lying seams for added comfort and to reduce irritation.
