The water-resistant fabric repels light rain and works hard to block out cold winds. As well as this, Stormlock is robust and highly breathable, the fabrication allows cool air to flow throughout the garment whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. Within the gilet, 90/10 duck down at 700 fill keeps you warm in extreme conditions. The combination of down and synthetic insulation provides maximum loft to keep you warm and snug. The insulation has an advanced treatment applied that resists heat robbing moisture and retains its loft even in damp conditions, making it perfect for wet weather adventures. The 700-fill down insulation offers optimal warmth-to-weight ratio and compressibility. Down provides more insulation per ounce than any other material, making it the optimal insulator. Furthermore, Nanuk Dynamic is a two-way stretch fleece with warm reverse side and durable, wind-resistant exterior. The warming interior fabric works to trap escaping body heat within is fibres whilst the exterior helps to block out cold winds. Two pockets allow you to store small essentials. Lastly, the full-zip is perfect for any expedition; the zips can be worn closed to seal in escaping heat or when temperatures rise it can be worn open to release an intolerable heat build-up. The full zip also allows for an easy on and off for quick transitions as you go.
