Consisting of Nubuck Leather, the upper is soft but durable, offering protection from sharp rocks, roots and branches that you're likely to encounter on the trails. A KeenDry waterproof membrane allows full protection from water entering the shoe, keeping your feet dry no matter how much it's raining. Along with being waterproof, KeenDry is also highly breathable, and allows vapour to escape out of the boot to help increase the flow of air to your feet. A hydrophobic mesh lining also features, which wicks away moisture to reduce dampness inside the shoes.
A compression moulded EVA Midsole holds excellent cushioning abilities, absorbing shock as you move through the heel strike phase of the gait cycle, ensuring that with every step you take you get the same shock absorption and comfort. The ESS shank provides torsional stability for a secure ride, minimising the risk of injury over rough and rugged ground. Lastly, the removable dual density metatomical EVA footbed offers additional comfort and cushioning to ensure you hike in comfort at all times.
The outsole is made of rubber and is non-marking, which will prevent surfaces from being ruined as well as being a supportive base for your feet to walk on. It is also highly durable and provides incredible traction even in wet conditions, allowing you to grip the terrain to ensure ultimate stability out on the trails.
