<p>The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane in the upper ensures the boots are durably waterproof combined with optimised breathability offering enduring weather protection. Water stays on the outside while perspiration can easily escape from the inside, thanks to their non-insulated construction they are the ideal solution for people who value outstanding climate comfort and heat release. This approach shoe is designed for hikers and backpackers with heavy loads. The upper boasts extreme comfort thanks to the soft Nubuck leather that is enriched with a protective rubber rand and toe cap for superb durability and protection from unseen trail hazards. The boots feature a 3D flex system that allows maximum precision on holds and freedom of movement in complete safety, while an underfoot stabiliser and STB control system make the boots ideal for extended use. Lastly, an extremely secure lacing system will provide complete comfort and control.</p>

<p>The TX 5 from La Sportiva sports an injection moulded EVA midsole which differs from the standard compression moulded EVA midsoles for a high degree of cushioning and a better elasticity of the compound. These features assist the propulsion phase of the gait cycle, making these boots ideal for use on off-road trails. Furthermore, EVA-injected midsoles drastically reduce the squash effect of the EVA over time, allowing the compound to maintain the same characteristics and high performance for its entire duration.</p>
