Mammut Eiger Norwand Light Down IN Hooded Women's Jacket
Lightweight, low-volume insulation. Tested by athletes as part of Mammuts Eiger Nordwand range, this packable jacket (with included stuff sack) is a great layering piece.
Crafted with a recycled 20D Pertex Quantum downproof outer fabric with a DWR treatment, the jacket provides weather protection in light rain and snow showers. Diamond Fuse technology has also been incorporated to enhance weatherproofness and durability for thermal performance.
Mammut's 900-cuin-fill-power DRY DOWN insulation is combined with a stitch-through construction offering an outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio, even when damp. This traps heat with ease, creating a barrier of warmth against the skin so you stay toasty no matter how cold it gets outside, while the strategically placed G-LOFT ECO EVOX synthetic insulation locks heat into areas most exposed to moisture. The Dry down insulation is highly compressible when not in use and can be packed down into the stuff sack, taking up little room in a backpack.
The Eiger Norwand Light Down IN Jacket has a climbing-specific pattern for an articulated fit and increased freedom of movement.
Enhancing weather protection is a grow-on hood with an elasticated opening, which is fully adjustable and is compatible with a helmet. A 2-way YKK VISLON centre front zip with easy-repair slider is included to provide you with easy on/off and temperature control. When zipped up, this traps heat to keep you warm, and when down, allows cool air to flow.
Providing plenty of space to store your items, Mammut has included two climbing harness-compatible front pockets with YKK VISLON zippers and two large internal mesh dump pockets.
Dual-sided hem adjustment is included with custom-designed cord pullers for easier adjustment, even with gloves. Completing the jacket are elasticated cuffs that lock in warmth and reduce bulk for a comfortable feel.
With repairable features, the Eiger Nordwand Light Down IN Hooded Jacket is a versatile, reliable choice for many seasons to come
