Knitted Polyester Upper

The upper of the Aenergy Trail Endurance has been constructed from an abrasion-resistant polyester knit fabric. Perforations in the upper encourage cool air to circulate while releasing built-up heat. This prevents overheating, keeping your feet cool and comfortable, regardless of how intense your run becomes. A 360° TPU-reinforced rand provides high-level protection against rocks and trail debris, for enhanced durability. The upper features a PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Resistant), keeping feet dry and comfortable through light rain and snow showers. Moisture-wicking properties prevent feet from becoming uncomfortable by removing moisture from the skin's surface. Ergonomic memory foam heel pods securely lock the heel in place for improving stability and comfort over technical terrain. Mammut has included a Semi-sock tongue construction, a super-light stretch mesh and perforated PU foam, which helps relieve lace pressure and improve comfort. This has been teamed with Base Fit Technology, a custom-engineered midfoot structure and lacing system that secures the foot for stability and enhances arch support over long distances.

Mammut CORE Plus and Core Ultra Midsole

Keeping you comfortable throughout your trail running adventure is a combination of Mammut's CORE Plus and CORE Ultra. Core Plus is a soft, well-cushioned midsole that absorbs impact and reduces blows as you take on various trails. Mammut has included their Flextron PRO propulsion plate, which delivers powerful energy return and dynamic forefoot flex while providing just the right amount of torsional stability. The plate propels you forward, helping you pick up the pace on the trail so you can hit those new PBs. The shoe's rocker profile offers a smooth, heel-to-toe transition for enhanced forward momentum and a more efficient gait cycle. Enhancing comfort underfoot, an Ortholite insole has been included for long-lasting cushioning and step-in comfort, straight out of the box.

Completing the Mammut Aenergy Trail Endurance is a Vibram Megagrip outsole. This grippy rubber outsole utilises Vibram's impressive Megagrip to offer unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces. Teamed with Litebase, the shoe's weight is reduced for a lighter feel as you fly around the trail. Megagrip is a high-performing sticky rubber compound, featuring an unparalleled level of grip on both wet and dry surfaces. Additionally, the outsole is durable, providing rugged longevity to these shoes and has an optimal level of ground adaptability.
