Crafted from a durable three-layer GORE-TEX fabric, the jacket is waterproof, windproof, breathable and abrasion-resistant. The GORE-TEX membrane has billions of pores per square inch that are smaller than a water droplet, preventing liquid water from passing through, but larger than a water vapour molecule, allowing sweat to pass through, keeping you dry inside and out. The C-KNIT backer offers a soft next-to-skin feel for increased comfort, while the climbing-specific pattern provides an articulated fit and full range of movement without restrictions holding you back. A helmet-compatible, one-way adjustable hood with a reinforced peak ensures increased coverage and protection from the elements, and the two-way water-repellent YKK VISLON AquaGuard centre front zipper with internal storm flap and fleece-lined chin guard assists in putting the jacket on and off, and can also be used to control ventilation. The water-repellent YKK coil AquaGuard zippered chest pocket offers space to store your essential items, while the elasticated hem and cuffs have been added to improve the fit and prevent wind chill from entering. A RECCO reflector features for improved searchability in emergencies, and lastly, a stow bag with a carabiner loop allows you to pack the jacket down when not in use for easy transportation.
