The Mammut Crater Pro is a premium, full-featured technical jacket that does it all and is designed for extra durability on technical alpine expeditions. The jacket has been designed using a three-layer GORE-TEX Pro fabric with a PFC-free ePE membrane. This is highly protective, shielding from poor weather, while being highly breathable to provide optimum comfort across a range of conditions. The jacket is solution dyed, delivering a more sustainable production through significantly reduced water consumption. A water-repellent two-way front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off while preventing water from entering, ensuring you remain dry at all times. X-vented water-resistant underarm zips increase ventilation by allowing you to dump excess heat, while an adjustable helmet-compatible storm hood provides additional protection and allows for an optimum field of vision at all times. Pre-shaped sleeves with a hook-and-loop fastener allow for a full range of movement, with an adjustable hem width, which enables you to alter the fit to a more personal one. Two climbing harness- and backpack compatible pockets and two chest pockets with water-repellent zips offer ample space to store all your essential items, with further storage options available thanks to the zippered inner pocket and internal powermesh pocket.
