Waterproof Upper

The upper of the Saentis Pro boots are durably waterproof combined with optimised breathability offering enduring weather protection. Water stays on the outside while perspiration can easily escape from the inside, thanks to their non-insulated construction they are the ideal solution for people who value outstanding climate comfort and heat release. This mid-cut trekking shoe is designed for hikers and backpackers attempting to stay light on their feet. The upper boasts extreme durability thanks to a TPU heel cup and added protection from unseen trail hazards. Furthering the waterproofing on the shoe is the elastic tongue construction ensuring that water can't get in from the top either keeping all parts of your feet well protected. The 3D knitted textile has been produced using synthetic fibres which have been developed to keep your feet well ventilated. These fibres are also elastic and adaptive to shape meaning that gradually over time they will fit perfectly to your feet. In addition to this, the vent mesh adds breathability allowing your feet to breath and replace sweat with clean air keeping them cool and dry.

EVA Midsole

Designed using an EVA midsole, these walking shoes aim to provide you with enough cushioning and comfort to get you through the day. A cushioned Strobel construction means that the upper and midsole have been stitched together to create a sock like feel to this shoe. An EVA wedge has been added at the heel of the shoe in order to maximise cushioning upon heel strike in order to reduce the pressure on your feet, ankles and knee ensuring that you remain well protected.

Michelin Outsole

Michelin are well known for their traction on outsoles, the outsole for the Saentis is no different. The high-performance rubber supplied by Michelin has been used to build the Trail Cleat outsole to give you optimal grip on rocks and has been specially developed for approach shoes. The rubber is also winter-specific, designed for complete control on icy and wet ground. The strategically placed lugs on the outsole as well as the varying sizes of the lugs ensure you have the traction where you need it in specific places. Working together with the insole and the elements of the Upper, the Saentis aims to give you all the stability and protection required on a variety of terrains.
