Breathable Air Mesh Upper

Supplying feet with optimum comfort and breathability, the Wave Rebellion Flash 3 utilises a lightweight engineered mesh. The air mesh allows a comfortable level of fresh air to flow freely through the construction, to ensure that feet don't overheat and remain cool throughout. The uppers also have internal reinforcements to provide your feet with a supportive fit alongside a seamless structure to prevent irritation or abrasion from occurring. Additionally, the shoes have a traditional lace-up system to provide feet with a locked-in, secure fit, preventing in-shoe slippage and allowing you to take confident strides. The tongue is made from an ultra-lightweight mesh fabric, ensuring the shoe's construction remains lightweight and comfortable.

MIZUNO ENERZY XP and MIZUNO ENERZY NXT Midsole

Utilising a dual-layer mdsole, the Wave Rebellion Flash 3 features MIZUNO ENERZY XP on the top and MIZUNO ENERZY NXT on the bottom. MIZUNO ENEZY XP is Mizuno's next-generation high-performance material infused with Nitrogen. This high-performance midsole compound combines softness, responsiveness and lightness at an elevated level to launch you forward with each step without unnecessary bulk holding you back. Beneath this, MIZUNO ENERZY NXT is softer and more responsive than MIZUNO ENERZY foam, providing next-generation rebound with a bio-based material. Sandwiched between these two midsole layers is a glass fibre-infused, Nylon wave-shaped plate. This MIZUNO WAVE plate provides a stable yet speedy ride without sacrificing the cushioned feel underfoot. The plate has been extended to the forefoot in order to support the SMOOTH SPEED ASSIST function. This SMOOTH SPEED ASSIST feature offers a unique sole geometry for effortless speed running. It lessens the load on the calf muscle and provides support for a more efficient running form.

Durable Rubber Outsole

Allowing you to get plenty of miles from your shoes, the outsole of the Wave Rebellion Flash 3 has a durable rubber outsole, made from a blown rubber construction. This durable outsole provides you with the grip and traction needed for those training or racing sessions, keeping you in control of your run whilst also reducing the overall weight of the shoes.
