New Balance FuelCell Rebel Women's Trail Running Shoes
For trail runners who like a close-to-the-ground feel, the FuelCell Rebel Trail balances traction, support and durability with a dynamic underfoot experience.
Breathable Mesh Upper
Designed to provide you with support and protection whilst promoting better breathability, the breathable mesh material of the FuelCell Rebel Trail keeps you motivated through the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing for heat to escape out and make room for cooling freshness. The 3D printed overlays sit on the mesh and also protect the foot from possible snags and bumps, reducing the possibility of distractions when racking up the miles over unpredictable terrain. The tongue is gusseted to block dirt and debris from entering the shoe, and is complimented by a heel pull tab that simplifies slipping shoes on and off. Finally, a traditional lacing system has been implemented into the design, effectively locking the midfoot into place for an immovable fit.
FuelCell Foam Midsole
Designed using a blend of PEBA and EVA foams to form the FuelCell midsole, the FuelCell Rebel delivers long-lasting comfort, mile after mile. When covering hard and unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed into the foam, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury. Absorbed shock is released within your following stride as propulsive energy, giving you a needed motivational boost in every step.
Vibram Megagrip Outsole
Offering highly sticky grip and traction, the FuelCell Rebel Trail features a single, full length rubber outsole of Vibram Megagrip. This adds durability to the sole of the shoe for longevity in wear and shields you from sharp sticks and stones for a distraction-less hike. This high performance rubber compound offers unparalleled grip properties on both dry and wet terrains and is up to any challenge on every kind of terrain. It gives you confidence and control, while maintaining an optimal balance between stability and flexibility for ground adaptation. Tractions lugs have been added to provide better control when ascending and descending.
