Nike React Foam offers a comfortable, cushioned light and elastic base for your cardio exercises and sprints. It is already 11% softer than before and provides 13% more energy return, the foam is more durable and more lightweight, so overall an exceptional fabric for your shoes. Nike React Foam makes a comfortable, cushioned base that feels exceptionally lightweight, and springy when you kick into high gear for cardio and sprinting. A wide, flat heel provides stability, as it has an inner plate that distributes weight from edge to edge of the shoes. In addition, the inner plate is flexible to provide comfort in cardio intervals.

Multi-directional Outsole

Developed using a directional outsole, the Nike Metcon 7 Training Shoes increase underfoot traction for a wide range of training activities. Ensuring a strong and stable base, the outsole wraps even further around the side of the midfoot from the added grip when climbing a rope and speed when sliding back down. Increasing traction, the rubber provides stable footing when moving from one place to the next. This is ideal for tough workouts, gym sessions, and classes where you typically make a lot of sharp, aggressive and lateral movements. This renewed rubber tread even offers more traction on the road.
