Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the Structure Plus promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing for heat to escape out and make room for cooling freshness. The material also protects the foot from possible snags and reduces the possibility of distractions when racking up the miles. A secure midfoot band has been integrated into the upper, this wraps around the heel and arch for optimal stability, assisting you in correct heel-to-toe transitions. Complimenting this is the traditional lacing system, this locks down the midfoot for a snug and secure fit, reducing the chance of in-shoe movement. To complete the upper is reflective detailing, this improves your visibility in low light conditions and keeps you pushing onwards well into dusk.

ZoomX and ReactX Midsole

By combining the premium ZoomX foam with firmer ReactX foam, Nike have created a stable yet responsive cushion for your feet to sit on. The ZoomX component is plush underfoot, a cloud-like softness, creating a protective layer of cushioning. Impact is soaked up into this foam as you strike down over hard and unforgiving surfaces, dissipating shock from reaching your feet and joints. This impact is then transformed within the foam into energy that is released within your following strides to propel you forward, adding motivation to your run. The secondary firmer foam, ReactX creates a stable surface for you to run on, supporting your foot through smooth heel-to-toe transitions and better control over your stride to decrease the chances of injury. To further improve stability, Nike have included a midfoot support system within the midsole by heightening the sidewalls, this prevents excessive inwards rolling while staying soft and natural feeling to help guide your foot gently.

Dual-Rubber Outsole

By combining two different densities of rubber, the outsole on the Structure plus is durable yet flexible underfoot to help you cover ground with confidence. The forefoot rubber is softer and more flexible, allowing the natural flex of the foot as you move through the gait cycle. While the heel rubber is stiffer and less malleable, great for heel strikers as durability is increased and the shelf life of the shoe is extended, keeping you out on the roads for longer.
