OMM Phantom 25 Backpack
The Phantom 25 brings the large storage of the Classic OMM packs and combines them with the high-performance features of the Phantom series. A large bucket pocket on the back of the pack provides storage for waterproofs and other layers whilst two big side pockets can be reached for bottles and other items. The Phantom 25 is also compatible with our GoPods, CompressorPods, and other bottle holders.
Throughout a race your shoulder will extend whilst your spine maintains it's line, a backpack with two shoulder straps attach the backpack to the shoulders causing the pack to swing side to side with the running action. OMM have nullified this with their Phantom Suspension system, creating a yolk behind the neck and moving the straps lower to ensure your arms aren't restricted during a race and preventing the backpack to bounce.
Two shock-absorbing suspension cords over the shoulder work in tandem to further reduce swing and keep the pack in line with the spine. This unique feature increases efficiency by allowing the spine to stay upright, keeping you stable at all times.
OMM have reduced vertical movement with two equalised anchor points which are fed to a shared adjuster, this creates a very stable Y-shape that hugs the vest pack into the lower spine. During a race when the runner pushes off, the weight pulls on the lower strap and as the runner drops back down, the upper strap tightens, preventing the shoulder loosening, ensuring maximum comfort.
To minimise the weight of the Phantom 25, OMM have packed this with features so you can pack your tent into the pack. The tent poles can replace the carbon fibre back frame whilst the tent pegs can replace the back length adjustment pin and the duo mat back pad can be used as a sleeping mat showing you just how versatile this backpack is.
