Omm Fell Trail Running Shoes

After 55 years at the heart of British mountain running, OMM has launched its first-ever running shoe - the Fell Shoe. Designed in partnership with Vibram and tested by OMM athletes over the past three years across miles of mountain terrain, the Fell shoe represents the culmination of decades of innovation and experience in extreme conditions.

Ripstop Nylon Mesh Upper

Designed using a ripstop nylon mesh upper, the OMM Fell is incredibly breathable while remaining highly durable. The mesh fabric encourages cool air to flow, while at the same time removing unwanted warm air to help create a microclimate where feet can thrive. The material is also exceptionally durable and is able to stand up to the rigours of trail running. The padded heel collar sits close to the foot to increase comfort, while heel pull tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off. A flat-laying tongue prevents irritation caused by rubbing, while an internal skeleton located in key areas such as the toe box, eyelets and heel cup gives the shoes structure and added protection in key contact points. Reflective details also feature on the upper to enhance visibility in low-light conditions. Completing the upper is an X-lock lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement and ensure a secure fit. The X-Lock system also secures the tongue, holding your foot securely on those steep descents.

Wave Technology Foam Midsole

Supplying you with an exceptional ride, the OMM Fell utilises a Wave Technology foam midsole to provide a highly cushioned, responsive ride. The foam compound adapts to your stride, providing a great balance of support and flexibility. Not only this, but it also helps to reduce injury by providing a softer base, cushioning your landing with every stride taken. Also residing within the midsole is an EVA rock plate, which spreads the impact upon landing and provides underfoot protection from sharp rocks or uneven terrain.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Completing the OMM Fell is a Vibram Megagrip with Litebase construction outsole that ensures traction and grip on varied terrain. This high-performance rubber compound provides unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber can form a solid bond with the ground beneath to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. Furthermore, impressive 8mm Vibram Traction lugs adorn the outsole to provide flexible and sticky multi-directional traction as you tackle awkward ascents and daring descents. The lugs, with updated shape and positioning, ensure additional support and stability so you can continue with complete confidence that your footwear will support you on any outdoor adventure.
