Protective Ripstop Upper

Crafted with a ripstop nylon material, the upper of OMM's Trail Shoes shields feet from possible injury while on unpredictable trails. With breathable and quick drying properties, the material allows air to circulate with ease around the foot for long lasting freshness and a widened versatility to changing conditions. Featuring protective TPU overlays over a nylon base, these shoes guard against trail hazards, allowing you to focus entirely on the path ahead. An internal skeleton provides comprehensive support, reinforcing the toe box, eyelets, and heel for maximum stability and durability. The X-Lock fit system ensures a locked-in, secure midfoot and tongue, offering comfort on long miles and through rapid speed changes without excess lace pressure. A flat-laying tongue has been utilised for reduced discomfort from rubbing materials while preventing debris from easily entering the shoe. A heel pull tab has been added for easy assistance when slipping into the shoe to get you up and out without struggle. To complete the upper is reflective detailing, this improves your visibility in low light conditions and keeps you pushing onwards well into dusk.

Wave Technology Midsole

Supplying you with an exceptional ride, the OMM Trail utilises Wave Technology within the midsole to provide a highly cushioned, responsive ride. The EVA foam compound adapts to your stride, providing a great balance of support and flexibility. Not only this, but it also helps to reduce injury by providing a softer base, cushioning your landing with every stride taken. Also residing within the midsole is a rock plate, which spreads the impact upon landing and provides underfoot protection from sharp rocks or uneven terrain while also added an energetic boost to your stride.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Completing the OMM Trail is a Vibram Megagrip outsole for top tier grip and traction over a variety of surfaces. Paired with Vibram Litebase, sole weight is cut up to 30% while Vibram's signature, durable grip is kept up to standard for fast paced confidence over tricky terrain. Furthermore, the 4mm traction lugs offer increased grip at a lower weight where the added surface area helps to improve stability on uneven terrain. The lugs have an updated and improved shape to them, tuned for consistent grip across changing surfaces, including climbing, cornering and descending.

Regular fit for UK Size 8 has a width of 92.0mm and ball girth of 247.5mm, while RegularPlus fit for a UK Size 8 has a width of 93.0mm and ball girth of 251.0mm. We recommend the plus version for feet that require extra width.
