Made from Puma's ULTRAWEAVE Upper, the Fast-R Nitro Elite 2s have an ultra-light construction, designed to keep your feet comfortable, lightweight and ventilated. The upper materials have a 4-way stretch design that reduces weight and allows the foot to move comfortably, providing a perfect sock-like fit. The perforations within the fabric allow cool air to flow, whilst hot, muggy air escapes, providing a cooling sensation as you move and a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The upper is highly durable thanks to its construction, providing shoes built to last. On the instep of the shoes, Puma has added PWRTAPE, which is designed to provide structure and support, whilst protecting areas that are higher-wearing. Finally, the traditional laces provide a secure, locked-in feel as you move.

NITROFOAM ELITE Midsole

Showcasing a unique, lightweight design, the midsole of the Fast-R Nitro Elite 2 has been created using Puma's most elite foam, NITROFOAM ELITE. This is a nitrogen-infused foam, lightweight and springy, providing you with high energy return and responsiveness. By infusing nitrogen into the foam, Puma has expanded their midsoles, making the shoes extremely comfortable underfoot whilst also providing maximum propulsion with each step, letting you run further and faster with ease. Not only will the foam help propel you forward to hit those PBs, but it will also absorb shocks and negative impact forces as you strike hard, unforgiving surfaces. By doing so, it reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. This midsole compound provides 22% more energy storage than predecessors and up to 46% more raw energy return, offering an exceptionally lightweight, more economical ride, saving you minutes on your marathon. Also, the exposed PWRPLATE, a carbon-fibre plate that enhances energy return and forward propulsion, extends through the midsole, keeping you focused on your target.

PUMAGRIP Outsole

Made using PUMAGRIP materials on the outsole, the shoes have maximum levels of grip on multiple surfaces, allowing you to step out and conquer the racecourse with confidence in achieving speed.
